In 2020 my first book was released by the University of North Georgia Press. It was three years in the making—as far as the writing and publishing process went. But it was really several decades in the making because it’s a book about my personal journey to becoming an art educator and a tapestry weaver.
The book is called The Nature of Things: Essays of a Tapestry Weaver and is available through booksellers (almost) everywhere, including Bookshop, Amazon, and Barnes & Noble. Check with your local independent bookstore to see if they can find a copy for you. Here’s a link to more information about it at the UNG Press website: The Nature of Things: Essays of a Tapestry Weaver - UNG
I gave a presentation about the book for the Damascus Fiber Arts School in late October 2020. Here’s a link to the Vimeo of that zoom talk.
